This honey is now very rare to get! It is very robust in flavour. It used to be very common honey and beekeepers would have a hard time selling it but now it's almost impossible to find a farmer who will plant buckwheat. It's a crop that the farmer uses between crops to slow down the weed growth but nowadays almost ALL farmers use chemicals to slow down weed growth. Even if the farmer plants it doesn't mean the bees will pollinate it. It has to be the right humidity, moisture and weather to collect the nectar of the buckwheat flower.
